OnPromptAds Store Spy Privacy Policy

MrX Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides OnPromptAds Store Spy, a Chrome extension that shows public information about Shopify storefronts you visit (such as products, theme, apps and ad pixels) and lets you open a product in Remix in OnPromptAds Brands. This Privacy Policy explains what the extension and related servers process when you use Store Spy.

Store Spy is part of the OnPromptAds Brands product family at https://brands.onpromptads.com/. When you sign in to Brands or use Remix, Competitors, or other Brands features, the main Brands Privacy Policy also applies: https://brands.onpromptads.com/privacy-policy/.

By installing or using Store Spy, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension and do not use it.

The extension script loads on https pages so it can check whether the page is a Shopify storefront. On pages that are not Shopify stores it stops immediately and does nothing else. On Shopify stores it reads the page you are viewing and the store's own public endpoints (for example /products.json, /meta.json and /collections/all) directly from that store. This store data is shown to you in the panel and cached in your browser. It is not sent to our servers.

• Extension install identifier: a random client ID stored in Chrome local storage so the extension can remember settings and associate usage with that install.
• Extension settings: whether the Store Spy button and the product image Remix button are on, and stores where you hid the button. Stored locally in your browser.
• Usage events: install, update, the domain of a Shopify store you inspected (at most once per store per day), opening the panel, Remix clicks, CSV exports and clicks to OnPromptAds pages.
• Remix handoff: when you click Remix, the product image URL, product page URL, product title and store domain are placed in the link that opens OnPromptAds Brands in a new tab.
• Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, user agent and extension version, from requests to our servers.
• Email for CSV export: exporting a full product catalog asks for your email address once. We send a 6-digit code to verify it, then store the verified email with the extension install identifier and the store domain you were exporting from. The extension keeps a copy in Chrome local storage so it does not ask again. This does not create an OnPromptAds Brands account.
• Brands account data: name and email from your sign-in provider, and anything you do in Brands. That is covered by the main Brands Privacy Policy.

• Your browsing history. Pages that are not Shopify storefronts are never reported.
• Full URLs, page content, form inputs or cart contents of stores you visit.
• Cookies, passwords or login sessions on any site.
• Payment card numbers.

• Provide Store Spy features and the Remix handoff into OnPromptAds Brands.
• Measure reliability and usage (installs, active use, Remix clicks) so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
• Send product updates, tips and offers about OnPromptAds to the email you verified for CSV export. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Secure our systems, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use Store Spy data for advertising to you.

The Apps tab shows OnPromptAds Brands as "Recommended for your store" above the apps detected on the store you are viewing. This is our own product, shown to every user. It does not mean the store you are viewing has installed it.

• storage: saves your settings, client ID and a 6 hour cache of store data on your device.
• activeTab: lets the toolbar popup read the store summary for the tab you are on, only when you open the popup.
• Content script on https pages: needed to detect Shopify storefronts and show the Store Spy button and Remix button on them.
• Host access to api.brands.onpromptads.com: sends the usage events described above.

You can revoke permissions or uninstall the extension at any time in chrome://extensions.

• Infrastructure providers that host our API and databases.
• Other members of your Brands organization if you link the extension to a signed-in Brands account.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• A successor in a merger or acquisition, with notice where required.

We keep extension usage events for as long as needed to operate and improve Store Spy, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Local data is under your control in Chrome and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise them for Store Spy, email [email protected] and mention "Store Spy Chrome extension". Brands account deletion instructions are at https://brands.onpromptads.com/data-deletion/.

Store Spy is intended for business users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at https://brands.onpromptads.com/store-spy/privacy/ and update the "Last updated" date.
