Yes. You start a scan from OnPromptAds Brands, and the posts are saved to your brand library there. Adding the extension from the Chrome Web Store is the first step; the scan itself runs from your brand.
No. Viral Spy is read only. Nothing is liked, commented, followed, or posted.
No. Viral Spy does not collect your Instagram password or copy your session cookie to our servers. It reads public posts on the hashtag pages you open for a scan.
The public caption, view, like and comment counts, the username and the media URL of each post from the hashtags you scan. Those fields go to your own brand library. The data is not sold.
Each scan returns 50 posts at a time. After each batch you can take the next 50 from the same hashtag, move to the next hashtag or finish. Each batch reports how many posts were new and how many were already saved and updated. In version 1.2.0 a scan can include up to 6 hashtags, and the extension stays inside a daily limit of 30 hashtags.
Instagram hashtag grids leave out view counts. To get them, Viral Spy also asks Instagram for the same public media details a reel page loads. A later pass fills in view counts without counting the same post twice.
Engagement in the library is likes plus comments, divided by views. Sorting by it surfaces reels that moved viewers to react, not only reels with big reach.
