OnPromptAds Viral Spy Privacy Policy

MrX Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides OnPromptAds Viral Spy, a Chrome extension that saves public Instagram posts from hashtags you choose into your OnPromptAds Brands library. This Privacy Policy explains what the extension and related servers process when you use Viral Spy.

Viral Spy is part of the OnPromptAds Brands product family at https://brands.onpromptads.com/. When you sign in to Brands, the main Brands Privacy Policy also applies: https://brands.onpromptads.com/privacy-policy/.

By installing or using Viral Spy, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension and do not use it.

You start a scan from OnPromptAds Brands while you are signed in. The extension then opens the Instagram hashtag pages you chose. It reads public post data that Instagram already loads for those pages. Hashtag grids often leave out view counts, so the extension also asks Instagram for the same public media details the website loads when a reel is opened. That request stays in your browser and uses the Instagram session already on that device. The extension does not like, comment, follow, message, or post.

The public fields it reads are sent to the OnPromptAds API for the brand you started the scan from. A later scan of the same post updates the saved counts. It does not create a second copy.

• Public Instagram post fields from hashtags you scan: shortcode, media id, media type, caption, like count, comment count, view or play count when Instagram provides it, username, verification flag, follower count when present, thumbnail URL, video URL when present, duration, audio title, and the time the post was published.
• Scan progress stored on your device: the current scan, which hashtag is open, and how many hashtags were used today, so a scan can continue and stay inside the daily limit.
• The scan token issued by OnPromptAds when you start a scan. It ties the posts to your signed-in brand. It is not your Instagram password.
• Technical data on requests to our API: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, user agent, and extension version.

• Your Instagram or Facebook password.
• Your Instagram session cookie. The view-count request is made by the Instagram page in your browser. We do not copy that cookie to our servers.
• Direct messages, your following list, or posts you did not open through a scan you started.
• Your browsing history. The extension runs on Instagram and on OnPromptAds Brands. It does not ask for the Chrome browsing-history permission.
• Payment card numbers. Billing, if any, is handled in Brands.

• Save and update the public posts in the brand library you started the scan from.
• Show views, likes, comments, and engagement in OnPromptAds so you can choose what to remix.
• Keep scans inside the daily hashtag limit and resume a scan you already started.
• Secure our systems, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits.
• Comply with law.

We do not sell this information. We do not use Viral Spy data to advertise to you. The posts are stored for the brand account that started the scan.

• storage: saves the current scan and today's hashtag count on this device.
• tabs: opens the hashtag you chose and talks to that tab while the scan runs.
• scripting: connects the OnPromptAds page to the scan so you can start it and ask for the next 50 from Brands.
• instagram.com: reads public posts on hashtag pages you open for a scan. Nothing is liked, commented, followed, or posted.
• api.brands.onpromptads.com: sends those public posts to your brand library.
• brands.onpromptads.com: lets the Brands site start and continue a scan.

You can revoke permissions or uninstall the extension at any time in chrome://extensions.

We share data with infrastructure providers that host OnPromptAds (such as our cloud and database providers) only so they can run the service. We share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public. We do not sell personal information.

Posts stay in the brand library until someone with access to that brand deletes them, or the brand account is deleted. Scan state on your device is removed when the scan finishes or you clear extension data. You can uninstall the extension at any time. Uninstalling does not delete posts already saved in Brands.

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or object to certain uses. Email [email protected]. We may need to confirm you control the Brands account before we act.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at https://brands.onpromptads.com/viral-spy/privacy/ and update the "Last updated" date.
